KIEN GIANG, Vietnam (May 22, 2020) -- InterContinental Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort joins in the InterContinental Hotel Group (IGH)’s Clean Promise, which aims to enhance the guest experience by redefining cleanliness and supporting wellbeing throughout each stay.
An expansion of IHG’s ‘Way of Clean’ program launched in 2015, the Clean Promise adds practices using improved protocols and service measures. IHG partnered with industry-leading experts to strengthen its procedures to ensure guests can have a relaxed stay in the wake of COVID-19.
“In Vietnam, the local government and citizens have made great efforts to keep the spread of COVID-19 at bay, with minimal infection rates across the country. At InterContinental Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort, we want to do our part to make sure that it stays this way – in particular when Vietnam opens its doors to the world again,” said Mr Oliver Horn, General Manager of InterContinental Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort.
InterContinental Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort has increased deep cleaning and disinfection cycles, reduced contact at check-in, increased touchless transactions and sanitising stations, as well as implemented a new service approach to buffets, banquets, catering, and room service.
Changes to guest rooms include the removal of decorative items and physical collateral, such as bed throws and service directories. Minibar items have also been removed to increase overall hygiene. For in-room services, all guests can use room televisions for further info on an interactive menu. Furthermore, all sanitised items in rooms will have visible verification notices, to give peace of mind to guests.
