Xuan, meaning ‘spring’ in Vietnamese, is an elegant, understated spa located on the third floor of the Park Hyatt. Xuan Spa embraces the local culture with its Mekong Delta inspired spa treatments. Great care has been taken to select the finest floral, botanical and mineral resources from the fertile mangroves and rich biodiversity of the Mekong Delta. Ginger, orange, cajeput, basil and cinnamon, commonly used in Vietnamese traditional healing, are incorporated into the regimens at Xuan Spa. Thann Sanctuary is a contemporary urban spa, influenced by Thai healing practices. Embracing the theme of ‘natural therapy’, the spa’s interior comprising of bamboo, wood and forest elements, was designed to induce calm and tranquillity. The aromatic scents of wood and jasmine wafting through the air create a relaxing ambiance. Every treatment on the spa menu uses Thann products, which include body, face-to-hand and foot care. The small facility ensures that guests receive focused attention and personalised care by their well-trained staff.

A hot stone massage is combined with the placement of Healing Crystals on seven chakras to calm the mental state while releasing toxins from the physical body. Explore Spa is situated on the ninth floor of Le Meridien. Together with the fitness centre, swimming pool and Explore Bistro, the quartet combined produces a holistic wellness experience. Consistent with the Le Meridien’s contemporary art aesthetic, the entrance to Explore Spa is surrounded by a shimmering mosaic wall fountain, enveloped by artful displays of a spiral wooden door frame and white plastic “bubbles” seemingly floating in mid-air. The underwater theme applies not only to the interior decoration, but also to the treatments, using marine-based Phytomer products. The offerings are mostly European centric, such as the Oligomer Silhouette for body contouring and Marine Detoxifying Body Therapy using seaweed wraps to replenish and hydrate.
