Among the must-see attractions for solo travellers, the magazine cites Bai Tu Long Bay, whose “cool jade-blue waters” charm visitors, and Son Doong Cave, one of the world’s largest natural caves. Solo explorers are also encouraged to wander through the ancient town of Hoi An under the glow of paper lanterns by the Thu Bon River, especially during the full moon.

“Endless adventure… awaits in Vietnam. Hop on a boat that departs from Ha Long Bay… take a guided tour of Son Doong… or visit Hoi An during the full moon…” Travel + Leisure writes.

Travel + Leisure notes that solo travel is becoming a global trend: more people are now travelling alone with a desire for “freedom, self-discovery and independent exploration”. In this context, Vietnam stands out not only for its natural beauty but also for its hospitality, affordability, rich cuisine, and authentic cultural experiences.
