Itinerary

DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY – VIENTIANE (Dinner)

- Guests gather at the international departure terminal, Tan Son Nhat International Airport. The tour leader assists with check-in procedures to board the flight to Wattay Airport.

- Expected flight: VJ1831 SGN - VTE 16:10

- After immigration, the vehicle picks up the group for dinner at a local restaurant.

- Check in to the hotel and rest. Free to explore the Western Quarter and night market in the capital of Vientiane. Overnight in Vientiane.

 

DAY 2: VIENTIANE – LUANG PRABANG (3 meals)

- Morning: The group has a buffet breakfast at the hotel. The bus and tour guide take the group to Vientiane High-Speed Railway Station to experience the high-speed train to the ancient capital of Luang Prabang (Expected train time 09:45 – 11:40). Arrive in the Ancient Capital of Luang Prabang – the capital of Theravada Buddhism and the peaceful ancient capital of Laos, founded 700 years ago in history.

- The group enjoys lunch at a local restaurant featuring salt-grilled fish, local grilled chicken with sticky rice, local grilled pork, ... rich in Laotian culinary culture. Start visiting:

- Kuang Si Falls Tourist Area - One of the most beautiful waterfalls in Upper Laos, 120m high with turquoise waters. Guests are free to check in with the mountain scenery of Upper Laos and enjoy swimming in the stream.

- After lunch, the bus takes the group back to the ancient capital of Luang Prabang.

- On the way, the group checks in at the terraced rice fields of the H'Mong people - a highland ethnic minority (during rice season).

- Check in at the Elephant Camp and experience activities such as feeding elephants and taking photos with them (at own expense).

- Wat Xieng Thong Temple - The most ancient and sacred temple in the ancient capital of Luang Prabang.

- Guests experience a cruise on the Mekong River, the location chosen for filming in the documentary "Mekong Chronicles" by Ho Chi Minh City Television, experiencing the majestic scenery of Upper Laos mountains and watching the sunset over the Mekong River.

- Evening: Guests have dinner at a local restaurant. Afterward, freely explore the local life at the H'Mong Night Market. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

DAY 3: LUANG PRABANG – MUANG FUANG (3 meals)

- Morning: You will attend the Tak Bat (Alms Giving Ceremony) - one of the deeply distinctive cultural rituals of the Lao people. The ceremony takes place daily in the early morning (usually starting at 5:30 AM in summer and 6:30 AM in winter) (offerings at guests' own expense).

- You will visit and shop for local specialties at Phousi Morning Market.

- Have breakfast at the hotel. Check out, and the group departs for sightseeing:

- Chomphet Temple on Mount Phousi – admire the panoramic view of the ancient capital situated at the confluence of the Mekong River and Nam Khan River.

- Royal Palace (National Museum) of the Lao Royal Monarchy, where King Savang Vadthana abdicated in 1975.

- Noon: Have lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards, the bus transfers the group to the station for the high-speed train to Vang Vieng (expected train time 12:50 - 13:50). Continue traveling to Muang Fuang.

- Check in, relax, enjoy the fresh air, and immerse yourself in nature at the floating houses on the river.

- 18:00: Have dinner at the restaurant. Experience the flower lantern floating ceremony, symbolizing prayers for peace and good fortune. Overnight in Muang Fuang.

DAY 4: MUANG FEUANG – VIENTIANE (2 Meals)

- Morning: Guests enjoy breakfast served in the room. Afterwards, the vehicle takes the group to visit Xinxay Temple – praying for luck and blessings. The group departs for Vientiane.

- Noon: The group has lunch at a local restaurant. Arriving in Vientiane, the group continues to visit:

- Wat Xieng Khuan Buddha Park (Buddha Park) - located along the Mekong River. It houses numerous Buddha statues with various mudras, sculpted in the style of Indian Buddhist capitals. The site was built through the devotion of Zen Master Bunleua Sulilat starting in 1958.

- Wat Si Muang (Mother Si Muang Temple) - the most sacred temple in the capital Vientiane, where Lao people often come to pray for safety, fortune, and peace. Guests visit, offer prayers to Buddha, and participate in the traditional Lao wrist-tying blessing ceremony.

- Evening: Check in to the hotel. Free time to explore the cultural life of the capital's residents at Vientiane Night Market and freely experience local cuisine (dinner at your own expense). Overnight in Vientiane.

DAY 5: VIENTIANE – HO CHI MINH CITY (Breakfast, Lunch)

- Morning: Guests have breakfast at the hotel. The car and tour guide take the group to visit:

- Patuxay Victory Monument - the symbol of Vientiane capital, located on Lanxang (Million Elephants) Avenue and built following the architecture of the Arc de Triomphe in France, deeply imbued with Lao culture.

- Pha That Luang – One of the most distinctive architectural works, carrying profound religious significance. A symbol of the wisdom, creativity, and solidarity of the Lao people.

- Wat Si Saket – Featuring over eight thousand statues large and small, witnessing the invasion by Siam.

- Noon: The group has lunch at a local restaurant. The group continues to visit:

- Chitana Lao Silver Store owned by overseas Vietnamese living and doing business in Laos.

- Talat Sao (Morning Market) Commercial Center.

- Afternoon: The group transfers to the airport to check in for the flight back to Ho Chi Minh City.

- Expected flight: VJ1832 VTE -  SGN 18:45 - 20:45.

Note: The itinerary may change depending on weather conditions, tidal forecasts, and port authority regulations.

TOUR INCLUDES:

Round-trip airfare SGN - VTE - SGN (Includes 20kg checked luggage + 07kg carry-on).

Air-conditioned vehicle for transportation throughout + 16-seater van in the Ancient Capital of Luang Prabang (large vehicles are prohibited).

Local 4* - 5* hotels. Standard 2 guests/room. In case of odd male/female, a triple room will be shared.

Vientiane: Laotel Vientiane 4* or equivalent.

Luang Prabang: Treasure Hotel Laos 4* or equivalent.

Meung Feuang: Floating house on the river (triple room: Twin/Double + mattress). If guests wish to have a private room, the surcharge is 750,000 VND/guest/night in Meung Feuang.

TOUR EXCLUDES:

Passport with a validity of at least 6 months from the return date.

Sightseeing spots not included in the itinerary.

Single room surcharge for guests wishing to stay in a private room (if any): 2,900,000 VND/guest/entire tour.

Tips for local tour guides and drivers paid abroad will be calculated according to the exchange rate at the time, suggested amount: 25 USD/guest/tour, equivalent to 700,000 VND/guest/tour.

Re-entry visa for foreign passport holders (if any): 945,000 VND/guest.

Laos entry visa for guests whose nationality requires a Laos visa. Guests should prepare 02 photos (white background) to apply for a visa at the Laos airport. Reference fee ~1,400,000 VND/guest.

REFUND/CANCELLATION CONDITIONS:

Personal expenses such as: overweight baggage, telephone, laundry, transport and guide services outside of regular hours, etc.

Immediately after tour registration, deposit 50% of the total tour price. Please pay the remaining balance 07 days before departure.

- Tour cancellation after registration incurs a 50% penalty of the deposit.

- Tour cancellation 10 days prior incurs a penalty = 70% of the total program tour price (Calculated on working days).

- After the above period, the penalty fee = 100% of the total program value (Calculated on working days).

For Holiday/Tet tours: Immediately after tour registration, deposit 50% of the total tour price. Please pay the remaining balance 25 days before departure.

- Tour cancellation after registration incurs a 50% penalty of the deposit.

- Tour cancellation within or 25 days prior incurs a penalty = 50% of the total program tour price. (Calculated on working days).

- Tour cancellation within or 20 days prior incurs a penalty = 75% of the total program tour price. (Calculated on working days).

- Tour cancellation within or 15 days prior incurs a penalty = 90% of the total program tour price. (Calculated on working days).

- After the above period, the penalty fee = 100% of the total program value. (Calculated on working days)

Cancellation of the trip must be notified directly to the Company in writing or via email, text message, and must be confirmed by the Company. Cancellations by phone are not accepted.

NOTES:

- “Passport” Must be valid for more than 6 months (Calculated from the return date).

- Before registering for the tour, please carefully read the tour program, terms, tour prices included and excluded in the program.

- If the customer is refused exit or entry by immigration authorities for personal reasons (images or information in the original document blurred, unclear, expired passport or incorrect regulations...), the travel agency will not take responsibility and will not refund the tour fare.

- Citizens must fulfill their tax obligations to the state and not violate the law in order to exit the country. In case an individual still owes taxes and is not allowed to exit, the Company is not responsible for compensating damages.

- Guests aged 70 and over must ensure sufficient health to participate in the tour itinerary, and are encouraged to travel with relatives to assist when needed. If guests have underlying medical conditions or poor physical fitness, a doctor's health certificate is required to ensure fitness for overseas travel.

- Due to the nature of a group tour combining individual travelers, the company will accept a minimum number of 10 adult guests and ensure the tour departs on schedule. In case the group does not have enough guests, the company is responsible for notifying guests 04 days before the departure date and will reschedule another departure date or refund the entire amount paid by the guests.

- Guests who have undergone cosmetic surgery, please remake your passport with a photo matching your current appearance. If entry is denied due to passport photos differing from actual appearance, the travel agency will not take responsibility and will not refund the tour fare.

- Since flights depend on the airline, in some cases flight times may change without prior notice.

- Purely sightseeing tour, guests are not allowed to leave the group throughout the program. (For guests separating from the group, a fee will be charged by the foreign agency).

- Guests using a foreign passport with a single-entry Vietnam visa, please inform us upon tour registration.

- Overseas Vietnamese or foreign nationals with a separate Vietnam visa must bring it along during the tour.

- Guests holding dual nationality or a Travel document (without citizenship) please inform the sales staff at the time of tour registration and submit the original along with related documents (if any).

- Guests holding only a green card (permanent residence card abroad) and no longer possessing a valid Vietnamese passport cannot register for tours to a third country.

- Pregnant guests please inform the sales staff at the time of registration for further consultation. Note that prior doctor's consent is required before joining the tour. Expectant mothers from 30 weeks onwards will not be accepted for safety reasons.

- Children under 18 years old not traveling with parent(s) must have an authorization letter from the parents (certified by local authorities).

- Services on the tour are non-refundable if customers do not use them.

- Depending on actual conditions, the order of sightseeing spots in the program may change while ensuring all initial attractions are fully visited.

- The Travel Company is exempt from liability in cases of natural disasters, earthquakes, droughts, protests, strikes, epidemics, aircraft technical glitches, etc., leading to flight delays, cancellations, or postponements; the company reserves the right to change the itinerary at any time for the convenience and safety of customers and will not be responsible for compensating arising damages.
