‘Cruise of Summer Vibes’ brings Chula Fashion to Halong Bay

QUANG NINH, Vietnam (July 30, 2018) -- On July 20, the Au Co Luxury Cruise treated 60 VIP guests to the ‘Cruise of Summer Vibes’, a special overnight event that ferried guests around the bay in style, and featured a mesmerizing ao dai show by Chula Fashion.

The cruise was a feast for the senses, and pampered guests with five-star service as well as a bespoke itinerary in the heart of Halong Bay. Passengers enjoyed an array of excursions and activities that celebrated summer in Vietnam, such as a complimentary jacuzzi, wine tastings, and cave excursions. Guests were treated to a gourmet five-course lunch and dinner, prepared with local ingredients and inspired by the bay itself.

The highlight of the experience was an elegant fashion show by Chula Fashion. The Spanish fashion house, led by designer Diego Chula, launched two fresh collection with a captivating runway show on the ship’s sundeck. The designer took inspiration from the ocean, as well as the natural beauty of Vietnam and the legend of Au Co, to create the looks on display. Guests marvelled at the intricate details and embroidery of the new collections, comprised of traditional ao dai as well as colourful cocktail dresses and couture evening gowns.

The Au Co Luxury Cruise proved a picture-perfect setting for the show and the event, with attentive staff and luxurious amenities enhancing the experience in one of Vietnam’s most remarkable destinations. The ‘Cruise of Summer Vibes’ brought together members from the media and tourism industry and feted major sponsors Chula Fashion, MNguyen Media, Da Loc Wine Company and Travellive Magazine.
