The Hung Kings' Temple Festival is a week-long expression of gratitude to the ancient ancestors of the Vietnamese nation.
The festival is held from the 8th to the 11th of the third lunar month each year at Hung Temple in Phu Tho province. On that day, a grand procession of palanquins and drums ascended Nghia Linh mountain, stopping at smaller temples en route to offer incense at the High Temple.
