Vietnamese Lunar New Year (Tet holiday)
31 Jan 2022 - 04 Feb 2022

The most important holiday in Vietnamese culture is Tết Nguyên Đán, or Spring Festival, Lunar New Year, or Vietnamese Lunar New Year. "Tết" is derived from" Festival of the First Morning of the First Day." Tết commemorates the start of spring according to the Vietnamese calendar, which falls in January or February in the Gregorian calendar. New Year's Eve occurs at 12 p.m. on the lunar calendar's December 30th (full month) or 29th (missing month). Cooking special holiday meals and cleaning the house are two ways that many Vietnamese people prepare for Tết.

If you're not sure how to celebrate the Vietnamese New Year, here are some suggestions:

  • 1. Join the Countdown Party by watching fireworks.
  • 2. Pay a visit to Ba Na Hill.
  • 3. Visit the beach at Phu Quoc.
  • 4. Have a good time at the theme park ( Asian Park - Sun Group, VinPearl, ... )
