Reunification Day
30 Apr 2023 - 30 Apr 2023April 30 is a national public holiday, marking the reunification of South and North of Vietnam in 1975. Many Vietnamese combine the holiday with Labor Day (May 1) to travel or return to their hometowns. Buildings nationwide raise the national flag, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City hold parades, and many homes hold ceremonies to honour those who sacrificed for the country.
