The Ban flower (scientifically known as Bauhinia Variegata) symbolizes the northern mountainous region in Vietnam. The sun comes back after the endless light rains of the spring, and the Ban flowers give the forests a white outfit.
Ban Flowers Festival’s main activities are held in Dien Bien Phu city from March 11th to March 13th, including the incense offering ceremony at Dien Bien Phu War Martyrs Temple, music of all ethnic groups, and ethnic culture exchange.
