Blending modern technology with cultural storytelling, Hanoi Dep Sound transforms a simple bicycle ride into a journey through the past and present of Thang Long - Hanoi.
A New Way to Experience Hanoi at Night
Participants cycle through carefully curated routes that pass famous streets, monuments, museums and heritage sites. As visitors approach each stop, the system automatically delivers audio commentary based on real-time location, allowing them to listen, pause or skip content according to their pace and interests.
The experience is designed to be intuitive and flexible, making it suitable for both first-time visitors and returning travellers seeking a deeper connection with the city.
Two Signature Routes
The tour offers two main routes, each highlighting a different aspect of Hanoi’s identity:
The Old Quarter Route
This route takes cyclists through Hanoi’s historic heart, including Book Street, Hoa Lo Prison Relic, the National Museum of History, the Hanoi Opera House, the State Bank building and other architectural landmarks that reflect the city’s colonial and revolutionary past.
The Ba Dinh Square Route
Cyclists journey through Vietnam’s political and historical centre, passing Ba Dinh Square, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum complex, the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, Tran Quoc Pagoda, West Lake, Long Bien Bridge and other nationally significant sites.
Each route offers a balance of heritage, urban scenery and cultural storytelling, all enhanced by the tranquillity and charm of Hanoi after dark.
